A Guide to Your
Small Business Account

Hints and tips to help you get the most out of your account.

Fund Your Account

Once your account is open, you’ll need to add money so you can start using it for business expenses.

Add money to your Axos business account in three easy ways:

Mail a Check

  • Before sending the check, make sure the name on the check matches your business name as registered with our bank.
  • Endorse the check by signing business name on the back or write a check from your current bank account.
  • Mail the check to:
    Axos Banking P.O. Box 509127 San Diego, CA 92150-9127

Initiate a Wire Transfer

  • Download the Wire Request Form from our online banking portal. Arrange a wire transfer from the bank with which you wish to transfer funds.
  • Check Deposit: Endorse the check by signing business name on the back or write a check from your current bank account.
  • ACH transfers: Use the following information to complete the transfer via ACH or wire from an external bank:
    Axos Bank ABA/Routing Transit Number: 122287251
    4350 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 140 San Diego, CA 92122
    For the benefit of: [Your Company Name]
    Account No: [Your Account Number]
    The cutoff time for processing same-day wire transfers is Domestic - 1 p.m. PT and International - 12:00 p.m. PT.

Use Mobile Deposit

  • Open the Axos Business app and select Deposit. Select the + button on the Deposit screen’s upper right-hand corner.
  • Use the app to take a photo of the front and back of the check and then complete the check information fields.
  • Select Deposit to complete the check deposit.
  • Once you finish depositing your check, you will receive a confirmation email. An email will be sent after each successful deposit. Then a second email is sent after the check has been either approved or declined.

Protect Your Password

After your account is funded, set up a couple of security questions to ensure you don’t get locked out of your account if you forget your password. Here’s how to reset your password quickly:

  • Sign in online via desktop
  • Select Options
  • Select Personal Settings
  • Enter your password reset question and answer
  • Submit

Bill Pay

Make recurring bill payments effortless. Set it and forget it by following either one of these steps:

  • Using desktop? Sign in online and click Bill Pay tab in upper left corner.
  • Using the Axos Business mobile app? Log into the app and select the hamburger icon located in the upper left corner of the page and select the Bill Pay tab.

Debit Card Activation

After requesting your debit card, it should arrive in 7-10 business days.

To activate your new debit card, please call (877) 247-8002 from the phone number linked to your business profile.

Once your card is activated:

  • Create a PIN number by calling (800) 290-7893 from the phone number linked to your business profile.
  • When prompted, input the ZIP code of your business mailing address, and then enter the last four digits of your business EIN (not SSN).

Add your debit card to your digital wallet to make payments with a quick scan of your phone. Here’s how:

Apple Pay

  • Open Wallet and press the plus sign
  • Select “Add Debit or Credit Card”
  • Follow the instructions

Google Pay

  • Install Google Pay app
  • Open Google Wallet app and press the plus sign
  • Select “Add a Debit or Credit Card”
  • Use your phone’s camera to scan your card info or enter it manually
