John Tolla is Executive Vice President, Chief Governance, Risk, and Compliance Officer for Axos Bank. Mr Tolla is responsible for managing the Bank’s overall risk management and compliance programs. He leads a team of seasoned banking professionals with ERM, Consumer and Lending Compliance, BSA/AML, Third-Party Risk, and Credit Risk management expertise.
Mr. Tolla joined Axos Bank in December 2013. Previously, he held leadership roles at BearingPoint and Booz Allen where his primary focus was on regulatory compliance, strategy, process improvement, and risk management with special attention to clients operating in heavily regulated industries.
Mr. Tolla received his B.A. from Seton Hall University in Political Science in 2000. He went on to graduate school where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2006 and an M.B.A. in 2007.
